This post took extra long for me to write because I found it so overwhelming. I had trouble staying with it past a few minutes at a time because my frustration ran too high for me to sit still long enough to think clearly, let alone write about it.
I went from being furious in my last post because of the carelessness surrounding the boosters, to being sad and dejected as I write this one.
You may have noticed the trend in the headlines over the last year, or so, announcing sudden deaths, or sudden extremely rare, and/or mysterious illnesses – with no explanation. The deaths have a name, which you may have also seen in the news: SADS.
Similar to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), it is a classification for sudden death in adults. More specifically, it occurs when a person under the age of 40 years old suffers a sudden death without a known cause after an autopsy and toxicology screen. SADS causes a cardiac arrest when the heart rapidly stomps pumping, and the body loses heart function, breathing, and consciousness. (Source: Health Desk, health-desk.org)

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: There needs to be a conversation. For the love of God, there needs to be a conversation about what exactly went into our bodies and how it might be affecting them. The fact that all of these individual stories were covered in the news without the slightest acknowledgment that an unknown substance was injected into the bloodstreams of an estimated 79% of the US population, according to the CDC, boggles the mind.
Now, I'm not saying I know anything, other than to say that this seems like a lot and gives me an uneasy feeling. And, I do know that people die. But they don't typically die out of nowhere, especially at such young ages, and especially with no underlying, serious illness to blame. The question upon us now is, why?
Personally, just since fall, I have learned of 7 people in my orbit who have died suddenly of cardiac arrest, ranging from 15 & 17 years old to people in their 50s and 60s. All were healthy with no existing health conditions.
What I am going to say, however, is that someone in charge needs to triangulate three things: The fact that the world underwent mass vaccination with technology that was new and not fully tested; the CDC warns of heart attack and cardiac arrest as a known side effect; an awful lot of young (and not so young) people are "dying suddenly."
As my first boss likes to say, "It's okay until it's not." Well, if we are learning that it is now not okay, ignoring it only makes it worse. Surely, if the powers-that-be ever expect us to take another shot, they need to show a willingness to engage in reasonable dialogue about legitimate concerns we have from this time around.
